Whether you are looking to start riding for the first time, build on skills previously learned, or progress forwards and start upping those competition results, we can help.

Becky, our on site instructor, is fast approaching her 10th year in teaching. She is fully qualified and insured, holding the BHS AI int.SM award (just one step off the full BHS II), up to date First Aid and Child Protection courses, and the rather useful HGV licence for getting off competing!!

With many recommendations from parents, Becky provides a fun, confidence giving and safe environment for children (and adults) to learn to ride.

Unlike many riding schools, which seem to forget about the seat and encourage children to master the rising trot and 'jumping' a jump in the first lesson, Becky concentrates on creating a good seat and feel for the horse with the use of lunge lessons and work without reins and stirrups to create a solid foundation. From there is it easy to build up correctly and create brilliant young riders!

For the more established rider, whether you are looking to tidy up your position, ride your first dressage test or round of showjumping, or are looking to affiliate and start gaining points, we can help you move forwards.

Our generously sized 65m x 25m arena is ideal for running through a long arena test, or to have multiple riders in the arena together.

With a full set of showjumps we are fully equipped for those all important gridwork and jump lessons, and for those wanting for work on their cross country, we have several XC fences here, but often arrange off site XC clinics at local BE venues.

Becky competes regularly in all disciplines - either out showjumping on her own mare Daisy, hitting the eventing scene on regular competition livery Foggy, or out on the youngsters showing them the ropes.
